Steps to Follow:
1. Complete our 77-hour salesperson course.
2. Pass the examination given at the end of our course.
3. Pass the New York State exam to be licensed.
 *Applicants are required to schedule their Real Estate Salesperson exam online. In order to schedule your examination, you must have an eAccessNY account. In addition to being able to apply for the exam, you will be able to view your scheduled exam details and exam results online. Create my account (For New Licensee or Registrant).
4. Complete the application for New York State Salesperson's License application, which the American Real Estate School will help you with.
 
Salesperson License Requirements:
Completion of our 77-hour course, the passing of our final examination and being sponsored by a Real Estate Broker's Office are required.  In addition you must pass the New York State licensing exam.  You must also be a permanent resident of the United States, at least 18 years old and no felonies* (*some exceptions apply).
