Steps to Follow: |
1. |
Make sure that you have finished
75-hour salesperson course and
have worked as a salesperson for at least 2 year unless you are exempt from
these requirements set by the Department of State. |
2. |
Complete our 45-hour broker course. |
3. |
Pass
the examination given at the end of our course.

4. |
Complete the application for New York State
broker license, which the American Real Estate
School will help you with. |
5. |
Pass
the New York State exam to be licensed.

Pre-Requisites:
You need to have finished the 75-hour salesperson course prior to this
course, unless you are exempt according to the State
regulations.
Broker License
Requirements:
Completion of our 45-hour broker course and passing of our
examination are required to apply for the New York State
broker license. Plus,
you need to have at least two year-experience as a salesperson and transactions
equal to 3500 points as defined by the Department of
State on the
brokers application.
You must also
be a permanent resident of the United States, at least
19 years old and no felony* (*some exceptions apply).
